Hi Ladies,
I just wanted to thank you again for allowing us to be a recipient of the Fashion with Flair event. What a first class event to be associated with!
Not only was everything about the event great, but I was honestly so impressed with the fact that – though I know you all must have been so tired and nervous about the event, right before it happened you were all so calm and happy and smiling! It was really impressive that you never lost site of what this was for, as so many committees do, and really enjoyed doing it.
Very impressive.
Thank you again for including us. We were truly honored to be!
Warmest Wishes!

Dear Joanie,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you personally on behalf of the City of Clearwater for the thousands of volunteer hours that the Clearwater Community Volunteers, formerly known as Clearwater Community Volunteers contribute to making the city a better place.
Whether it’s helping to clean up downtown, decorating the city for the holidays, helping out on the Main Street events or producing your own events such as the Easter Egg Hunt in Coachman Park or the magnificent Winter Wonderland — your volunteers have demonstrated a civic and social responsibility that is not often seen.
The City of Clearwater will only flourish to the degree that community members such as Clearwater Community Volunteers are willing participants.
It has been my sincere pleasure to work with you over the years.
Best wishes,
Brian Aungst, Mayor
Dear Joanie,
I want to take this opportunity to tell you how much I appreciate your work and the efforts of the Clearwater Community Volunteers over the past few years. There are so many areas of our community that are so much better off because of your efforts.
As a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of the Suncoast, I want to commend you for your ambitious initiative to support the Clearwater Jasmine Courts Boys and Girls Club. The fashion show fundraiser that your group held was nothing less than spectacular. It truly was professional and enjoyable, and I can assure you that the funds raised were very beneficial to the children in our community.
I appreciate all that your group is engaged in, and I assure you that your support has not gone unnoticed.
Sincerely,
James F. Coats, Sheriff (then Chief Deputy)
Pinellas County, Floria
Dear Joanie,
On behalf of the staff and Board of Directors of HEP, I want to thank you for your generous donation of $3,500. Joanie, we are delighted with the check and really appreciate your confidence in the work we do. As I mentioned before, Becca, Margaret and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. This will certainly go a long way in helping us continue to offer our services to our residents. Your commitment to helping alleviate the problem of homelessness in our community is sincerely appreciated.
The goal of HEP is to continue to make a difference in the lives of the homeless. With the help of donations from supporters such as you we will continue to see improvements in the plight of the less fortunate in need of housing. Your generosity is a powerful factor in helping HEP continue to aid the homeless individuals and families in reaching their goals of self-sufficiency. Your support demonstrates a vote of confidence in our work.
Sincerely,
Barbara Green
Executive Director
Dear Joanie,
Thank you for Clearwater Community Volunteers’ table sponsorship of Boys and Girls Clubs of the Suncoast 18th Annual Steak and Steak Dinner held on Monday, August 8, 2003. We’re delighted that you were able to attend, and we’re glad you believe in us!
The reviews are coming in and we’re receiving two thumbs up for “50 Years of American Music.” The talent was fantastic this year and showed how the kids really appreciate and value this opportunity. They are already looking forward to the 2004 event; that committee will be forming very soon to begin the planning.
Thank you again for your continuing support of Boys and Girls Clubs and for confirming our belief that they are truly “The Positive Place for Kids!” We hope you will consider our cause again for this event in 2004.
Sincerely,
Carl R. Lavendar, Jr.
Executive Director
