formerly known as Clearwater Community Volunteers
The Community Fun Raisers formerly known as Clearwater Community Volunteers was established in 1994 by parishioners of the Church of Scientology who wanted to become more involved in the local community by putting on events and raising funds to help children and families in need within our community. CFR has since expanded over the years to welcome volunteers from all over Tampa Bay, and from all faiths, who share our purpose.
CFR is all about helping others, and having fun doing it!
CFR puts on charity events each year: the elegant Fashion With Flair and silent auction, and Winter Wonderland. In addition to these annual events, CFR organizes volunteers to help out with other community events.
CFR will be treating PAL kids and the kids at a couple of homeless shelters with Easter goodies.
CFR will be helping PAL with their back to school event.
This is a multi-course dinner with wine pairings, prepared by the Tampa Bay’s top Chefs, and features curated live entertainment pairings for each course.
This event includes a silent auction, great food and a fabulous fashion show with VIP models. The exquisite fashions featured are from local area boutiques. The huge silent auction had something for everyone with well over 300 items, and much more.
