STORY TIME WITH SANTA
The CCV Center multipurpose room will be turned into Santa’s house using Winter Wonderland décor and a live pine tree. Santa will be recorded reading Christmas stories through Facebook live. This platform will be used as families can comment in real time and be part of the experience and talk with Santa through story time.
COOKIE DECORATING CLASS WITH MRS. CLAUS
Decorating cookies with Mrs. Claus is a popular Winter Wonderland activity. As no cookies will be distributed this year, Mrs. Claus will teach families how decorate gingerbread cookies. The recipe will also be posted on the CCV Facebook page. This activity will be done via Zoom or as a Facebook Live. Families will send their pictures in to the Center staff and the best cookies will receive a prize. This will be done in the CCV Center kitchenette.
HOW TO MAKE A CHRISTMAS WREATH AT HOME
This will be done from the CCV Center using the wreath from Winter Wonderland. Pam Ryan Anderson will walk through families on how to create a Winter Wonderland worthy Holiday wreath. Families will send their pictures in to the Center staff and the top three wreaths will receive a prize.
HOLIDAY ART CONTEST
A theme will be picked and children at home will create art. Again families will send their pictures in to the Center staff and the top arts will receive a prize.
CHRISTMAS GOT TALENT
Videos will be requested from locals and put together as auditions for a talent show. The winner will receive an award.
LIVE HOLIDAY CONCERT WITH THE FLAG BAND
The Flag Band will perform every Wednesday of December on Facebook live in their studio depending of the use of the Auditorium). This will be streamed via the CCV Center Facebook page as it enables families watching at home to do real time song requests, interact with the Band and comment on the show.
