In 1994 Clearwater Community Volunteers was founded with the purpose of helping to create a better community for all citizens of the City of Clearwater and Pinellas County. CCV has raised money, food and toys for family and children’s charities such as the Boys & Girls Club, Homeless Empowerment Project, the Red Cross, the Children’s Home in Tampa, Victims of Katrina and many more.
CCV is a 501 (C) (3) tax exempt organization, and since 1994 has produced many annual charitable events to help families and children, including the Easter Egg Hunt in Coachman Park, the Fashions With Flair Charity Fashion Show and Silent Auction held at the Fort Harrison Hotel, and Winter Wonderland in downtown Clearwater. Winter Wonderland donates food and toys to the Red Cross and Everybody’s Tabernacle. CCV has a very strong interest in helping children and families, both by putting on phenomenal family-oriented events, and for finding and providing food, toys and other essentials for needy children/teens and families.
