The holiday season has officially arrived in Clearwater, and with it comes the return of one of the city’s most beloved traditions—Winter Wonderland! Now in its 31st year, this magical holiday village continues to warm hearts and bring families together, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV).
This year’s Winter Wonderland was recently featured on Tampa Bay 10’s “Great Day Live”, shining a spotlight on the joy, purpose, and community spirit that make the event so special. The broadcast welcomed Pam Ryan Anderson, Executive Director of CCV, and Joanie Segal, longtime volunteer, who shared heartwarming stories and behind-the-scenes insights into what makes Winter Wonderland a cherished annual celebration.
Located at the corner of Drew Street and North Fort Harrison Avenue, the village is a festive playground for children and families, complete with twinkling lights, cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus, train rides, a petting zoo, photos with Santa, and more. But beyond the fun, Winter Wonderland serves a greater purpose—it’s a charity-driven event that collects toys and food donations for families in need during the holiday season.
CCV’s commitment to the community is reflected not only in the thousands of volunteer hours spent preparing the event, but in the smiles of every child who experiences the magic.
Whether you’re visiting for the first time or making it an annual tradition, Winter Wonderland 2023 promises to be a heartwarming experience that captures the spirit of giving and the joy of the season.
